The global Red Cross response continues in Haiti, where a devastating earthquake and aftershocks hit on 12 & 20 January 2010. Local and international Red Cross staff and volunteers are providing relief in the most needed areas where the priorities are to bring medical aid to cover the needs of thousands of people who were injured in the quake, and to prevent the spread of illness and diseases in the coming days.
